After over a year of waiting and following the release of their exclusive Entertainment Weekly photos, HBO finally dropped the trailer for the final season of their massive hit show, Game of Thrones.
The trailer sent Thrones fans in a frenzy this morning and with good reason.
It starts out with dialogue from Arya Stark then proceeds to show her running away from something, presumably a white walker. It is clear, the Long Night has come to Winterfell.
We also see Daenerys and Jon Snow’s arrival to Winterfell along with her dragons, splashes of Cersei’s face riddled in fear, and most of the main characters ready to battle the dead.
The final season of Game of Thrones airs April 14th at 9PM on HBO.
