George Floyd’s Brother + Son Urge Protestors To Keep It Peaceful : “Tearing Up Things Won’t Solve Anything”

Amidst national protests due to the murder of George Floyd by four police officers in Minneapolis, cities are under fire while civilians demand justice.

Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and more have displayed acts of solidarity with kneeling and marching throughout the city in honor of George Floyd.

A portion of people have participated in looting and fighting back against police officers who are using aggressive force to stop them from protesting.

In a recent interview, George Floyd’s brother spoke out stating that George would not be happy about violent protests and that it is overshadowing the actual cause.

Floyd’s son who resides in Houston, Texas made a statement saying: “tearing things up won’t solve anything…he also added that “his father is “in peace” (now).
