The boxer Gervonta Davis has found himself in a messy situation.

Reported on Bossip, he was accused of paying $250,000 worth of jewelry with a fraudulent check. However, Davis is denying that he scammed Shyne Jewelers and is asking for proof.

Last week, Shyne Jewelers sued Davis, claiming he “conned” them out of buying a $130,000 Richard Millie RMOl 1-FM watch with a blue band. According to the jewelers, a few months later, Davis asked for more jewelry, which amounted to $250,000. They sent him what he asked for, and Davis sent back a cashier’s check from TD Bank. The company said, the check was counterfeit, and “after closer examination, they learned it was a fake,” according to the report.

Hopefully, they can settle everything in court!
