GloRilla’s hard work is paying off.
The Memphis, Tennessee rapper released her breakout mega-hit, “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” last year and has seen more success than some artists that’s been in the game for over a decade. GloRilla signed with Yo Gotti’s CMG over the summer and scored her first No. 1 on Billboard, alongside Hitkidd.
This year, she earned her first Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance for her first hit. Big GLO also received co-signs from Cardi B., who appeared on “Tomorrow 2,” which also went No. 1 on Billboard last year. In addition, living icons like Mary J. Blige and Method Man gave GloRilla her props.
The “On Wat U On” rapper recently responded to Method Man admitting her music gets played a lot in his household. During a red carpet interview with Hip Hop DX for the Grammy Awards, Method Man said he met her at some point but to him, she seemed “unaware” of who he is, but she was very kind. He said, “That speaks volumes to her character. Love her.”
GloRilla replied online in her Instagram Stories and reassured him that she knows who he is. She said, “@methodmanofficial I most definitely know who you was lol big fan.”
