Many, including those in the hip hop community have enjoyed the last years as President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama brought a brand new attitude to The White House the past eight years.
Now it is time to say goodbye.
The President will be addressing the nation for the last time to give a “farewell” speech from his hometown of Chicago, Illinois on January 10. Ten days before President-elect Donald Trump goes into office.
“On Tuesday, January 10, I’ll go home to Chicago to say my grateful farewell to you, even if you can’t be there in person.”
He also addressed the nation through Twitter earlier this weekend.
As we look ahead to the future, I wanted to take a moment to look back on the remarkable progress that you made possible these past 8 years.
