Roxie Washington, the mother of George Floyd’s daughter is speaking out for the first time.
Filled with emotion and with 6-year-old daughter Gianna (Floyd’s daughter) by her side, she spoke at a Minneapolis conference yesterday (June 2). She just wants justice for her daughter’s father.
“I want justice for him, because he was good. He was a good man no matter what anybody thinks, he’s was good, and this is the proof that he was a good man.”
USA Today reports George Floyd was reportedly striving for a better life. He moved from
Houston to Minnesota and was looking for better job opportunities. He also was active in Gianna’s life.
