Kenneth Petty‘s sentencing date was postponed, giving him a little more time at home.
According to The Jasmine Brand, Mr Petty was previously arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in California. He is required to be on the sex offender registry on account of a 1995 sexual assault conviction.
Back in August, reportedly accepted a plea deal and now faces a minimum of five years of supervised release, but could still face jail time.
The site reports that prosecutors agreed to delay his sentencing date which was originally scheduled for early 2022 but was pushed back a few months. He is now due in court on March 30th as opposed to January 24th, giving him a bit more time to spend with his family.
