Good news.

The U.S. House of Representatives votes in favor of a $2 trillion stimulus package. It’s now heading to President Trump, who is expected to sign it quickly.

According to reports, Trump has promised to sign the legislation “immediately.” Now, it’s still unclear how quickly the government will share out some of the money such as increased unemployment benefits and small business loans. Yet, the White House and congressional leaders said certain individuals will receive direct payments of up to $1,200 within three weeks.

This legislation stands as the largest emergency aid package in US history. Reported on CNN, the package’s creation was nearly hindered by the Republican representative, Kentucky’s Thomas Massie. “The Republican, Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, infuriated members in both parties by bringing them back to Washington amid uncertainty over whether he would request a full roll call vote. That uncertainty forced many to travel during the public health emergency simply to deny his demand in order to ensure swift passage of the measure on Friday. “

We recently reported what this stimulus package will mean to you. In case you missed it, Americans will receive $1,200 per individual & $2,400 per couple. For those with children, they will receive $500 per child. For those making $75,000 or more or $150,000 joint, they will receive a portion of $1,200.

Together we can, together we will come out on top of this.

We’ll keep you updated.
