During a recent interview with the New York Times, Ice Spice revealed that she has no beef with Drake, who allegedly dissed her on “BackOutsideBoyz,” a track off the Toronto native’s collaborative album with 21 Savage, Her Loss.
“She a ten tryna rap, it’s good on mute, yeah,” the four-time Grammy winner rapped. Once rumors started that the line was a reference to Ice Spice, the rising artist went on Twitter and responded with, “At least I’ma 10.”
“We’re cool,” the Bronx native told the publication. “We spoke after that a couple times and we’re good. There’s no beef.”
Drake and Ice Spice linked for the first time in August of 2022 after the 23-year-old caught Drake’s attention with her breakout hit “Munch (Feelin’ U).” Drake ended up flying her out to Toronto for his OVO Fest. “When Drake DM’d me, I did not really expect that,” Ice Spice told Spotify’s “RapCaviar” regarding the encounter.
Last week, Ice Spice surprised fans with a new EP, Like..?, which is named after one of her signature catchphrases. The six-track project includes previously released hit singles “Bikini Bottom” and “In Ha Mood.” It also features fellow Bronx rapper Lil Tjay and was executive produced by Riotusa.
