While fans wait for Kanye West’s next album Yandhi, the artist has been keeping them happy with his Sunday Service videos.
Originally scheduled for release on September 29, Kanye held back the track after feeling that it wasn’t completed to his satisfaction. We have yet to hear an update from the project as Yeezy has kept a lower profile as of late following a tumultuous 2018.
Engineer Kevin Celik sat down with The Lunch Table where he discussed what we should expect from the upcoming album.
Celik, who engineered three songs from the project, explains that the album is inspired by women empowerment. “It’s go get your own bag type s***,” he said. “It’s dope.”
He also says that you should look forward to a track featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign titled “New Body,” to be released.
The engineer believes Yandhi will “shake the game up this year.”
I guess we’ll find out!
