Remember once upon a time when beef was a “trend” in hip hop? We might be entering a brand new era. One that involves celebrity boxing.
Last week, Soulja Boy and Chris Brown began the craziness as their social media beef turned into an alleged pay-per-view celebrity boxing fight that is being promoted by Floyd Mayweather JR.
Now it seems like Kodak Black wants in on the fun by calling out Lil’ Wayne.
“Ay listen here man,” he said. “Tell Lil Wayne fight me, know what I’m saying. We finna get in the ring, we finna fight, me and Lil Wayne. I’m finna knock that stupid a** n***a out. And if he whoop me, he the best rapper alive, ya heard me?”
A fight for the best rapper alive title? What ever happened to battle rapping?
“Since Soulja Boy and Chris Brown doing it, I don’t even need no trainer,” he continued. “I don’t need Floyd Mayweather, Adrien Broner. I’m finna beat Lil Wayne stupid a**, watch!”

50 Cent chimed to say he would try to set up a potential fight.
