Irv Gotti had A LOT to say about his alleged sexual relationship with Ashanti over the summer.
Is she firing back now?
Ashanti dropped a remix to Diddy’s “Gotta Move On” ft. Bryson Tiller. In the remix, Ashanti sings,
“It’s giving obsessed/It’s giving you stressed/It’s giving you pressed/It’s giving this n*gga missing the best/But it’s been 20 years please cry less, we can see you and your tears.”

The Murder Inc CEO appeared on Drink Champs and spilled on an alleged romance between him and Ashanti 20 years ago. Irv said spoke on wanting Ashanti, even though she was with Nelly and he was married but seperated. Irv said, , “I couldn’t get past you wanting to be with Nelly. Listen, at the time, it happens… any man is hurt. The chick that you f*ckin’ are in love with is with this n***a.” Irv also claimed that Ashanti’s hit record “Happy” was created right after they allegedly had sex.
Irv shared more details about his relationship with the Princess of R&B on The Murder Inc Story on BET. In one clip, he said “Ashanti’s coming to the studio every day and our friendship and bond is naturally growing. She used to wear these Juicy sweats and her a*s was looking fat. Her a*s was looking great,” he said with a laugh. “So one day, I was like, ‘I’ll take you home.’ She said, ‘Bet. Cool.’ Walk her to her front door of her crib. She turns to say goodbye and I just kissed her and grabbed her ass. It was like, ‘What took you so long?’”
Irv’s comments caused many people to side eye him, including his good friend Fat Joe. Joe called Irv out on social media and since, but they’ve made amends since then. Ja Rule also stuck up for his Murder INC sister at the time.
