J. Cole’s New Album ‘KOD’ BREAKS A Record

J. Cole is making music for the people.

After surprising fans with a pop-up listening session last week, the hype surrounding KOD was on fire. People were so curious about the project that ended up breaking a record.

The project received 64.5 million streams in its first 24 hours, and according to reports broke a record on Apple Music set by Drake’s album Views.

The difference between the two records is Apple Music is now at over 40 million subscribers vs about 13 million subscribers when Drake’s album was released.

Cole has been receiving some pushback due to the messages on his latest album. One of them being Lil’ Pump who decided to respond to Cole’s lyrics on  “1985” in a recent Instagram post.
