Prayers up!

In a since-deleted Instagram post, Ja Morant shares a picture of his mother, his father, his daughter and himself. The caption to the photos read “love ya ma, love ya pops, you da greatest baby girl, love ya. bye.”

The photos leave fans concerned as Ja has been making headlines lately after being seen flashing another gun on Instagram live. The NBA player shortly deleted the Instagram story after he posted it.

We previously reported that on Sunday (May 14), Ja Morant was suspended by the NBA again after a video showing the Memphis Grizzlies point guard flashing a gun while on Instagram Live in a car with friends.

“We are aware of the social media post involving Ja Morant. He is suspended from all team activities pending league review,” the Grizzlies said in a statement. “We have no further comment at this time.”

This incident comes two months after the 23-year-old was hit with an eight-game suspension after another Instagram Live captured him brandishing a gun at a strip club called Shotgun Willie’s in Glendale, Colorado.

Following the second incident, Morant issued another statement saying, “I know I’ve disappointed a lot of people who have supported me,” the statement began. “This is a journey and I recognize there is more work to do. My words may not mean much right now, but I take full accountability for my actions. I’m committed to continuing to work on myself.”
