Jada Pinkett-Smith has been receiving some backlash from fans because she included her 18-year-old daughter, Willow, in the discussion about Domestic Violence.

In her latest episode of ‘Red Table Talk’, Jada along with her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris both talked about their abusive relationships in the past, in which Jada began to cry about when she was recalling the incidents that took place between her parents.

Jada later expressed that she believes it is important for the younger generation to be included in these discussions. “I just need for people to understand that Willow’s not always at the table to talk about experiences or to act as an expert of any kind, but as a student because her mother and her grandmother have gone through a lot of things in life and it’s really about her hearing about our experiences and us being open to understanding what is happening in her life as well.”
