Jay Z Is Taking His Activism To The NEXT Level With His Latest Move

Jay Z is using his power to bring some enlightenment and knowledge to the community.

Following the successful four part docuseries on Kalief Browder titled TIME: The Kalief Browder Story, Hova is keeping his activism alive to produce a brand new series on Trayvon Martin.

According to Variety, he won what is being consider a heated bidding war on two books titled Suspicion Nation: The Inside Story of the Trayvon Martin Injustice and Why We Continue to Repeat It and Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin which will be used in background.

The plan for this project would be for it to be a six part docuseries.

Trayvon Martin was killed on February 26, 2012 after an encounter with George Zimmerman. The trial was one of the most talked about topics in the nation as it touched on the issues of the justice system, and racial bias in the United States.

Jay Z teamed up with the Weinstein Company in 2016 to produce different films and television shows.
