The Nicki Minaj and Joe Budden saga continues.
Nicki Minaj announced that she’ll be releasing a new song on Friday, and that she’ll donating a portion of the proceeds directly to The Bail Project Inc. She writes via Instagram, “the fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail while awaiting their trial. We want to protect and support the thousands of brave people working on the front lines of social justice, using their voices to demand AN END to the targeting and killing of Black Americans by the police.”
Joe Budden caught wind of the rappers comments, and was seemingly unimpressed at her efforts, he took to Twitter to respond. “‘A portion of the proceeds’ huh… lol,” wrote the rap commentator and podcaster.
