Earlier this year, Drake and Pusha T traded bars as they both engaged in a rap beef with scathing freestyles at each other.
One of the biggest headlines came when the G.O.O.D. Music president released a freestyle titled “The Story of Adidon,” in which he revealed that Drake had a secret kid, was planning to use it for an ADIDAS line, and other very personal information.
The beef suddenly came down to a close when J Prince called a truce between the two, and claimed that Kanye West wanted to put an end to it during a conversation on Ebro in the Morning, “I’m a family man, I don’t want this.”
West showed up on WCGI in Chicago and addressed whether he gave Pusha T some personal information to use for the diss track.
“No, I didn’t,” he said. “Don’t pull me into this conversation. I’m ‘Ye, I honestly don’t care that much, in all honesty.”
As for rumors the beef began over music, possibly what we know now as “Lift Yourself.”
“People be around your family and be in your house and this and that then, they get mad about a beat and send purple demon emojis,” he said. “I don’t play like that, I don’t play in that place. It’s like, look, it ain’t no beef.”
