Last year, Kanye West was in the middle of a beef along with Pusha T against Drake that was increasingly getting uglier with ever sing or freestyle that was being released.

He will be sitting down with David Letterman for My Next Guest Needs No Introduction on Netflix, where he addresses the beef without saying his name because he is “not allowed to.” The Daily Beast has some of the transcript of the conversation.

“An artist which I will not mention, because I’m not allowed to mention him or any of his family members,” he began. “Well, we had a little beef last year. He has this line that I love that says, ‘I told my story and made history’ — like made his story and made history. That’s what we do, we tell our story and then people relate to that story.” The report also said that “people latch onto that story and get mad when it goes in a direction they don’t expect.”

He then concluded, “I have a friend who told me that my power is my influence,” he said. “And I said my power is my ability to not be influenced.”

The conversastion is set to be released in full later this month. Watch the trailer below.
