Kevin Hart’s former friend, JT Jackson is no longer facing extortion charges in the alleged sex tape involving the comedian.

Back in 2017, JT was accused of getting footage of Hart’s affair with Montia Sabbag. JT then allegedly tried to use to tape to blackmail Hart for money.

Reported on The Jasmine Brand, Jackson was charged with extortion but they have been reportedly dropped. According to the report, Jackson “never actually demanded money from Hart or anyone on his team.”

Jackson allegedly demanded money on Hart’s Instagram account after Hart admitted to cheating on his wife.

Jackson has denied all extortion accusations. He’s still being charged with other felonies, 2 counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information and concealing and selling stolen property.
