Kid Cudi Walks Off Rolling Loud Stage After Water Bottles Thrown At Him, Kanye Comes Out

Kid Cudi’s Rolling Loud Miami performance did not go as planned…

As reported on Rolling Stone, Kid Cudi headlined the festival but fans tossed water bottle and other items at him, which resulted in him getting off the stage. Before Cudi walked off, he warned the crowd to stop, and said he’d leave if they didn’t, but that didn’t stop aggressive concert goers. Cudi only performed four songs.

People in the crowd chanted Kanye’s name, who was originally slated to headline but pulled himself out. The outlet reports when Kanye announced he wouldn’t be performing at the festival, fans requested Travis Scott be the replacement, however, RL’s co-founders “falsely claimed the event’s venue prohibited Scott from performing due to his association with a fatal crowd surge at his Astroworld festival last year.”

After Cudi got off the stage, Kanye made a surprise cameo rocking a full face mask. Lil Durk pulled up with Ye. Kanye performed The Life of Pablo “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1.” Fans pointed out, the songs contains vocals by Cudi.

Social media has mixed feelings about the whole situation. One user said, “Ye shouldn’t have been able to pop up like that tbh. Shit situation.” Another person said, “n*ggas treated kid cudi like a substitute teacher,” “niggas dont really care how they affect someone’s mental health.. They should feel lucky to see that nigga Kid cudi perform.”

A Cudi fan said, “The Kid Cudi hate is truly embarrassing and sad af. Dude don’t deserve any of that just because your favorite artist refused to show up.” Another person wrote, “So you’re telling me that Kanye “pulled out” of rolling loud 4 days before. Got replaced by Kid Cudi, Kid Cudi got booed off stage and then Kanye showed up anyways to Durk’s set anyways and immediately performed one of the biggest song he has with Cudi’s chorus. Jesus Christ.”
