Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s own Krayzie Bone walked up to Hot 97 for a great conversation about his journey, their influence in hip hop, and mumble rap.
Krayzie broke down his journey throughout hip hop including how Eazy E helped discover the group from Cleveland, Ohio.
The group, originally known as Bone Enterprise sacrificed by calling Ruthless records everyday until Eazy-E would see them, and then paying their own way to Los Angeles to perform.
He also discussed how the group created Notorious B.I.G.’s hit single “Notorious Thugs” where they didn’t even hear his verse until the album was released.
His album alongside Bizzy Bone is called New Wave. It is scheduled to be released in June.
