Leslie Jones is leaving Saturday Night Live. The actor, comedian, and writer has worked for the company since 2014 and her departure comes ahead of the show’s Season 45 set to premiere on September 28th.
Jones began her career with SNL as a writer before becoming a featured player on the show. Buzzfeed reports that Jones is currently exploring other avenues, including film opportunities and Netflix comedy special.
