Lil Uzi shocked his hip hop fans when he said he was “done” with music. One of his main issues is with his record label, Atlantic Records and his freedom to drop music.
He got fans excited again when news broke that Lil Uzi would be performing at the 2019 Rolling Loud Australia concert but then got let down again. On Saturday (Jan. 26) WhatsLively reported the shows line up and Lil Uzi’s name was no longer on the list.
What’s Lively didn’t give a specific reason as to why, but it could have something to do with his latest decision to “quit rap.” Lil Uzi’s slot will be filled by Rae Sremmurd and a “special guest,” who is believed to be Gunna, according to a report.
