Martin Lawerence is getting some flowers while he can still smell them.
The actor will receive recognition from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. It was first announced last year in June, and now Martin has an official date to celebrate the milestone.
All Hip Hop points out the organization’s Vice-President of Media Relations, Ana Martinez said, “Comedian Martin Lawrence to be honored with [a] star on the Walk of Fame on April 20th! #walkoffame.”
Last year, when the Bad Boys actor learned he will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, he reacted in a video and said, “We did it! We did it! All the way from Landover, Washington DC, all the way to Hollywood. We did it. God bless. God bless.”
Martin is most known for the classic 90’s sitcom, Martin. His career kicked off after he started filming Bad Boys, with Will Smith, which turned into a franchise, with several sequels. Bad Boys 4 is reportedly in the works.
Martin has also starred in movies such as Do the Right Thing, House Party, Boomerang, Life, Big Momma’s House, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, and more.
