Meek Mill

Meek Mill’s fight against the Philadelphia justice system continues.

The rapper’s fight to get a new trial was denied once again by Judge Genece Brinkley who continues to preside on his case.

Despite prosecuters requesting that he had deserved a new trial because the one witness in his 2008 trial is in the middle of a police corruption scandal.

“After an in-depth review of the record, court history, notes of testimony, and evidence submitted at the evidentiary hearing, this court hereby denies defendant’s petition for PCRA relief as defendant failed to meet his burden of proof,” she said according to TMZ.

Since Meek Mill’s release in April he gave a historic performance at Hot 97 Summer Jam in June, and released a brand new single titled “Stay Woke.”
