Megan Thee Stallion wants people to take her shooting case against Tory Lanez more seriously.

As reported on XXL, the Houston, Texas rapper interviewed with Rolling Stone a few weeks ago. During the conversation, she spoke about the Tory Lanez July 2020 shooting incident. She said she’s “trying every day to get through it.” Megan continued,

“I feel so bad because I don’t feel like anybody’s taking me seriously, but I don’t want them to see me cry. I don’t want them to know that I feel like this, because I don’t want them to feel like, ‘Oh, I got you. I’m breaking you.’” The Good News rapper went on to say,

“‘I feel like you’ve already tried to break me enough. You’ve already shot me. So, why are you dragging it out like this? Like, what else? Have you hated me this much the whole time, and I didn’t see it?’”

At the end of the discussion, Megan said, “I want him [Tory] to go to jail. I want him to go under the jail.”

Tory is charged with one felony count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm for allegedly shooting Megan. The Los Angeles District Attorneys’ office also charged the Toronto rapper with personal firearm use, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He pleaded not guilty and has an upcoming court date on July 28. His trial is September 14.

During a recent court appearance, prosecutors allege Tory leaked court documents to the Internet weeks after Megan’s CBS interview with Gayle King. Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta is investigating the source of the alleged leak, as of now, there’s no proof it was Tory. His lawyer, Shawn Holley, told the court she’s “confident” the leaks didn’t come from her “watermarked” discovery.
