Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case.
Yesterday we reported that Judge Herriford sentenced the Canadian rapper to 10 years in prison. He was charged with felony negligent discharge of a firearm, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm for the shooting of rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
Prior to the sentencing- Lanez shared some words with Megan, who he still considers a friend. He says he, "still cares about [Megan]." He continued, "we both lost our mothers. We would sit there and drink, and drink until we got numb.” Cuniff also reported on what Tory said about the shooting. I said some very immature things that I shouldn’t have said. I revealed some secrets I shouldn’t have revealed,” Tory said.
Following the sentencing, Megan Thee Stallion's hairstylist, Kellon Deryck, shared a boomerang via Instagram. In the image, the stylist was toasting with someone while an image of the sentencing headline was in the background- seemingly toasting to the sentencing.
Neither Tory nor Megan have responded to the headlines as of yet.
