It looks like we’ll hear Prodigy and Havoc together one more time.
On Monday (March 12), Havoc was a guest on MSNBC’s The Beat with Ari Melber where he did reveal that he is working with Prodigy’s family to put out one more album before the end of the year.
“The way Im reflecting on it is Im just trying to keep the legacy alive,” he said. “We deserve that, and Im actually currently working on the new album in conjunction with the family. It’ll be out there pretty soon, before the end of the year. Before the end of the year it’ll be out.”
Mobb Deep’s last album The Infamous Mobb Deep was released in 2014.
Prodigy tragically passed away on June 20, 2017 following complications from sickle-cell anemia.
