Mattel has decided to step it up a notch and give customers what they’ve been asking for, and that is a RELATABLE looking Barbie and Ken doll!

The senior vice president, Lisa McKnight made a statement confirming the news:

“By continuing to expand our product line, we are redefining what a Barbie or Ken doll looks like to this generation… Evolving Ken was a natural evolution for the brand and allows girls to further personalize the role they want him to play in Barbie’s world.”

The new and improved Black Barbie has Afro Puffs, and an Afro, while the new Ken has CORNROWS! #TheDollEvolves campaign also features new body types!
