This is good news.Nick Cannon got his job back!As reported on Page Six, Nick is returning as host of VH1’s Wild ‘N Out after the parent company Viacom fired him last summer for making anti-Semitic comments on his podcast, “Cannon’s Class.”During the episode, Nick called Black people the “true Hebrews.” He also talked about anti-Semitic conspiracy theories including the Rothschild family. Nick said, “It’s never hate speech, you can’t be anti-Semitic when we are the Semitic people,” Cannon said. “When we are the same people who they want to be. That’s our birthright. We are the true Hebrews.”Nick later apologized to Viacom and the Jewish community. Shortly after, Nick had a conversation with Rabbi Abraham Cooper. Rabbi Cooper is a big name in the Jewish community, he’s the associate dean and director of the Global Social Action Agenda for the Simon Wiesenthal Center. At the end of the conversation on "Cannon’s Class", Rabbi Copper said he accepts his apology. Fast forward, an MTV Entertainment Group spokesperson said, “Nick has not only apologized and taken responsibility for his comments, but he has also worked to educate himself and others through engagement with Jewish leaders and on his platforms.” They went on to say, “Those efforts are of the utmost importance and that’s why we have invited him to rejoin our team.”It’s not clear when Wild 'N Out will resume, but it’s on the way!
