Nicki Minaj has certainly been in a lot of headlines as of late.
The misunderstanding in the issues between Nicki and Kylie Jenner began following reports that the album Queen was hit the #2 spot in sales last week behind Travi$ Scott’s Astroworld which reached the #1 spot for the second week in a row.
Nicki went on Twitter to give her side of the story, and address what she felt was an unfair way of reporting album sales, and called out Kylie Jenner for helping her boyfriend reach success.

Footage leaked this week, showing Jenner walking away from Nicki Minaj on the red carpet at the MTV VMA’s. Inside she and Scott were sitting away from Nicki after originally being set up to sit right behind her.

On Queen Radio yesterday (Aug 23), Nicki Minaj reacted to the footage, and cleared up that she didn’t really have problems with Kylie Jenner. It’s just a music thing.
“I f***ing love Kylie and so do my fans. Kim was on my first episode of Queen Radio—f***ing love her. We’re not going to make something that it’s not. We’re not going to start any dumbass cat fights for your entertainment. This is strictly music, between musicians…She supported her man like she should. Me and my fans are not feeding into this.” She later continued, “she has been put in probably a little awkward situation but this is not real life,” she continued. “This is entertainment.”
