Entering into the TV and Film industry can be rewarding yet challenging but for 18 years old, Niles Fitch, it’s been the latter.
Starting in the business since he was a toddler, Niles’ career began in various commercials and on shows like Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne”, and “Army Wives”.
His drive to create a name for himself and build his acting resume lead him to join the cast of NBC’s hit show, “This Is Us” where he plays the younger Randall Pearson (played by Sterling K. Brown). The current episodes leave young Randall battling with his racial identity while being part of a blended family. Niles’s preparation for the controversial storyline is derived from his own personal experience as a young black teen who grew up in the South (Atlanta, GA). His Atlanta roots run deep and though he’s based in Los Angeles now, he still cheers for his home sports teams.
His next big project is Miss Virginia, co-starring alongside Uzo Aduba who played the lovable character “Crazy Eyes” on Orange Is The New Black. The film is based on the struggles of a parent fight to get funding for her child to attend a prestigious school while having to battle major racial obstacles to make it happen.
Niles’s career is only on the rise from here on and out and factor in him playing a prince in Disney Plus’ upcoming film, Secret Society of Second Born Royals, Hollywood will surely come calling even more.
