This year’s Superbowl halftime performance might be one of the most anticipated events of 2018.
Earlier this week, Justin Timberlake confirmed that he would indeed be performing the halftime show for the third time. This comes 14 years after he and Janet Jackson shocked the world with what is now called
Following the intense backlash back in 2004, fans want Timberlake to reach a hand out to Jackson to make history one more time.
Entertainment Tonight got a statement from Jackson through a “source, and the door is wide open for a surprise appearance.
“The door is wide open,” the source says. “If Justin or his team did reach out, Janet would perform with him again in a minute.”
It was confirmed earlier this week that the NFL would not block the decision should it happen.
“There’s no ban,” a league spokesperson told ET. “We are not going to comment on any speculation regarding potential guests. There may be no guests. Along with Pepsi, we’re excited to have Justin Timberlake.”
