Personal care brand Nivea, is working its way up to Dove’s status in reference to the racist connotations they display in their advertising.
A commercial promoting a skin-lightening product in Africa has went viral and pissed off a lot of people.
The product called the ‘Natural Fairness Body Lotion’ targets black women, and endorses lighter skin.
Reports claim these ads are plastered all over Ghana, and different areas in Africa.
Keep in mind that this is not the first time the German brand has received backlash in reference to their ads.
