North West has shared some love with another rising star, a young reporter named Jazlyn, also known as Jazzy, as they dish about her highly anticipated album.
Over the weekend, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s 10-year-old daughter, North, stole the spotlight at Rolling Loud 2024, joining Ye and friends on the main stage.
Shortly after her brief appearance, a video popped up on Instagram featuring North having a blast with 13-year-old Jazzy for an episode of Jazzys World TV.
The interview, short and sweet is the first in which North has touched on her forthcoming album, Elementary School Dropout.
“It’s gonna be great,” said North, responding to an inquiry about what fans can expect from her debut offering.
Regarding the album’s release date, North kept it mysterious, simply stating, “Like… I don’t know.”
Equally elusive when asked about potential collaborations, including one with her father, North revealed, “Maybe! We don’t know yet!”

Last week, North West announced that she would soon follow in her father’s musical footsteps, with the release of her very own project.
Titled Elementary School Dropout, the disc pays homage to her father’s 2004 debut, The College Dropout (Def Jam) which features artists like Jay-Z, Common, Jamie Foxx, Twista, Ludacris, and more. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, selling 441,000 copies first week, and includes classics “All Falls Down,” “Through The Wire,” and “Jesus Walks.”
In February, North West made her recording debut on “Talking” from Vultures Vol.1, the collaborative album from Ty Dolla $ign and her father, Ye. The milestone led her to become one of the youngest artists to top the Billboard charts. Further, the music video for the track, released last month, amassed over 17 million views on YouTube.
Vultures Vol.1 is the first installment of an upcoming trilogy, with volume 2 slated for release the second quarter of 2024. Initially planned for March 8, Ty and Yeezy recently unveiled the cover art for the follow-up album but postponed its release. Meanwhile, on Saturday (March 9), Mr. West hinted at selling the next installment directly to consumers.
