Rotated @JasonLemon's video of a NYPD officer shoving a protester to the ground pretty violently right in front of a bunch of cops, including a senior officer of at least a lieutenant or above based on the white shirt. pic.twitter.com/q8icXDrWAP

Zayer took to Twitter to share a video following the incident. In the video, she’s in a hospital bed as she breaks down what happened. “In no way was I aggressive towards this police officer, and I did not even get in his physical space,” she said at the time. “He was walking in my direction, told me to move, and because I didn’t move out of his way in time he threw me out of the way.”
