Quality Control:

Artists like Lil Baby, The City Girls, Lil Yachty, and more have a new label head after Quality control CEOs Pierre "P" Thomas and "Coach K" Lee sold QC in a $300 million deal. It was sold to Scooter Braun's Hybe America. According to TMZ, the former CEOS will still be a part of the company, just under Scooter.

DaBaby:

DaBaby is pleading with a judge to give him more time to fight his civil trial over an alleged assault that happened in 2022. The trial is scheduled to go down in April, but DaBaby wants it pushed back until October.

Dipset vs. G Unit:

According to Jim Jones, Dipset started the mixtape wave. During an interview on the Flip Da Script podcast, Jim said, "We started the mixtape movement, right? And it wasn't a crew mixtape. We were making real albums and putting them out as mixtapes. G-Unit was doing replays of other people's beats and making mixtapes." 50 Cent responded:

Lil Wayne:

Lil Wayne wants a judge to dismiss his former chef's case against him. Weezy's former cook, Morghan Medlock, is demanding half a million from the rapper after she was fired, but Wayne says he doesn't owe her a dime. The case is ongoing.

Offset x J. Prince:

J. Prince called out Offset after the Migos rapper said he doesn't know J. Prince "from a can of paint." This erupted a few days after the Grammys, which had some backstage drama when Quavo did Takeoff's tribute performance without Offset.
