The talented singer/songwriter H.E.R is taking the music industry by storm with her powerful voice.
Gabriella Wilson, better known by her stage name H.E.R is a 21-year-old powerhouse. In 2016, she debuted her EP H.E.R Vol 1, it was named best of R&B/Soul Albums by iTunes.
At the start of her career, she kept her identity unknown as her music represented who she was. Fans were unsure of who H.E.R was. For a while it was “rumored” that she was Gabrielle Wilson, who signed with RCA records at age 14. There was never any confirmation or even an interview with H.E.R, only music. Now, after releasing several projects and singles, it’s rare that we see H.E.R without her shades on.
Her stage name H.E.R is an acronym for Having Everything Revealed, coincidentally.
She performed at the 2018 BET awards, and stars like Jamie Foxx was stunned by her talent. Her performance at the awards really set the tone for who she was as a performer.
H.E.R took to her Instagram to announce her song, Focus, debuted at number 1. The sultry sound of the record gives us old school R&B vibes . It’s safe to say this new, young and talented artist is bringing real R&B back.
