Young Thug and Gunna and 26 other people were listed in 56-count indictment involving ‘YSL’ members facing RICO charges.
According to reports, Young Thug was taken into custody yesterday and is being held at Fulton County Jail. The rapper was charged with conspiracy to violate the racketeer influenced and corrupt organizations act (RICO) and participation in criminal street gang activity. Gunna has reportedly been charged with one count of conspiring to violate RICO.
Prosecutors are now using lyrics from Young Thug’s songs as evidence in his indictment. His hit single, ‘Ski,’ is being used as evidence. Prosecutors called the songs lyrics “an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy.”
Thugs social media post are also being used as evidence. Back in March 2019, Thug posted a picture of rapper YFN Lucci and captioned it “yfn if ain like you what u do for your mohter and kids I WOULDVE BEEN KILLED U.”
