Takeoff was laid to rest in Atlanta yesterday (Nov. 11) at the State Farm Arena.

Thousands of fans reportedly attended, as the service was open to the public, but was quickly sold out.

Today (Nov. 12), Quavo shared heartfelt pictures via Instagram in memory of Takeoff. In the caption, he used the infinity emoji, a broken heart emoji, along with a rocket emoji. Take a look:

Quavo shared another post, a heartfelt letter. It starts off, "Dear Take, it's so hard to tell you ima miss you because you always with me and we did everything together. Since we were kids you been by my side." He continues, "You never competed with me, we were always on the same team. You hated playing against me because I was always playing too hard or too ruff then I can hear my mama say 'sonn not too ruff' cuz I didn't like to lose!"

He went on to share beautiful memories. Take a look:

Takeoff was killed early morning on Nov. 1. At the time, he was in Houston with Quavo at a private event playing dice, an altercation broke out, resulting in gunshots, causing Takeoff to get hit. Medical examiners ruled Takeoff’s death a homicide.

Details surrounding the altercation are fuzzy. Some reports say the argument was over the dice game, some say it wasn’t. The killer is still on the loose, and Houston police are asking the public for help. About 40-50 people were at the scene when the shooting occurred.

Our hearts and prayers continue to be with Takeoff and his family/fans. May he rest in peace.
