It’s almost been two months since the untimely passing of comedian John Witherspoon. He passed away on October 29th, 2019 at age 77.

His son, JD Witherspoon, took to his social media to send a sentimental message about “Pops.” JD is grieving his father’s passing as he expressed his father has been visiting him in his dreams.  “I keep having dreams about you Dad. In my dreams you come back to life, but I’m the only one who knows that you’ve already left us. It’s like that scene in the movie inception where they can’t tell if they’re in a dream or in the real world.” He writes.

JD is following in his father’s footsteps and continuing his comedic legacy.

He continues, “It’s really trippy man… Also once I finally wake up, it’s more of a nightmare than a dream since I know at that point you’re not still here with us. I at least get to have full conversations with you in these dreams that are really nice, we chat about life, and what I’ve been up to which I really enjoy. So yeah Dad I guess your spirit is trying to keep me company, thanks for that. Love you…”
