Last night (Jan. 2), Lifetime ran the first two episodes of Surviving R. Kelly Part 2 in which we got more detail inside R. Kelly’s past of being sexually abused, as well as events leading up to his arrest following last season’s premiere of the show.

It also gave more details on other victim’s experience with the singer including the stories of Tiffany Hawkins, Faith Rodgers, and Dame Dash’s recollections of what the late Aaliyah told him about the singer during their relationship before her untimely passing.

Azriel Clary’s story was highlighted in the first season of the Lifetime show, and continued when she spoke in support for R. Kelly during his now infamous inteview with Gayle King last year.

Since the interview, the aspiring singer has been seen on social media, and even opened up her own account. She made some cryptic tweets before the show premiered last night.

“The quiet before the storm.”

She also reacted following the show’s conclusion, again not addressing the show directly, but seemingly sharing a message with the world on how she felt after watching.

“The main thing is don’t panic.”

Just before the New Year she celebrated her 22nd birthday.

R. Kelly has been charged with 13 counts in Illinois including “enticement of a minor and obstruction of justice, in addition to the child pornography charges,”  and one count of racketeering and four counts of violating the Mann Act in Brooklyn.
