R. Kelly was sentenced to one more year in prison over federal child pornography charges on top of the current 30-year prison sentence he’s already serving after being convicted in 2021 in New York of sexual exploitation of a child, racketeering, bribery and sex trafficking.

This additional year stems from a verdict made last September in an Illinois federal courtroom. On Thursday (Feb. 23), a judge found the R&B singer guilty of making child pornography with three minors, including his 14-year-old godchild, Jane.
