The king of controversy, R. Kelly, has been released from a Chicago prison yesterday after posting $100,000 bail. Although previous reports stated that Kelly’s family helped raise the bail, new reports alleged that a “mystery” woman posted it for him. Kelly was arrested on Friday and plead not guilty to ten counts of aggravated sexual abuse. According to the Chicago Tribune, court records revealed that a 47-year old woman from Romeoville, Illinois posted this bail and identified herself on the bond slip as a “friend” of R. Kelly.

Kelly’s release date was an ordinary day for the singer. Sporting the same outfit worn days prior, he was picked up in a black van that also stopped down the street to pick an unidentified woman. He was then followed to the nearby McDonalds in downtown Chicago where he was photographed enjoying a meal with his entourage. The vehicle then left the restaurant shortly after and arrived at BIGGS Mansion’s Cigar Bar and Lounge.

Earlier outlets reported that the singer was unable to post bail due to increasingly overdue child support; therefore this alleged  “mystery friend” donation could be truthful.
