Remy Ma’s Publicist Releases Statement On Alleged Brittany Taylor Incident

Remy Ma Releases Statement

It looks like Brittney Taylor’s case against Remy Ma may not go very long.

According to TMZ, the rapper has security camera footage that will prove that she was at her home at 9:30pm on April 16, the time the Love & Hip Hop: New York personality claims she was punched in the eye.

Remy’s lawyer Dawn Florio is now convinced Taylor’s case will get dropped. A publicist statement by Remy Ma sent out this morning says that the allegations against her are “baseless.”

“Both of Remy’s lawyers assert there’s credible evidence to support that this is a baseless case and nothing more than a money grab attempt.”

Florio also claims that there is no surveillance footage from Irving Plaza, and that a photo posted that very night hours after the alleged punch that blacked Taylor’s eye did not show any injuries.

Last month, Taylor posted a photo with a black eye and alleged that Remy Ma had assaulted her backstage during the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza. She was not invited to the event according to a publicist statement from Remy.

“In addition to the fact that Taylor bypassed numerous police officers that were on the scene to post allegations on her Instagram page and hired a civil lawyer, who is known for high profile lawsuits, both of Remy’s lawyers assert there’s credible evidence to support that this is a baseless case and nothing more than a money grab attempt,” the statement later reads.
