The world has been mourning the untimely passing of New York rapper Fred The Godson. Fred tragically passed away last week, due to complications with COVID-19.
Fred was only 35-years-old at the time of his passing. Back on April 6, the South Bronx rapper shared via his Instagram that he was in the hospital after being diagnosed with COVID-19. He writes, “I’m in here with this Corvus 19 sh*t! Please keep me in ya’ll prayers #godisgreat.”
Many fans, friends, and celebrities alike have been expressing their condolences via social media.
His wife and the mother to his children took to her own social media to send a special tribute to her late husband. She posted a series of memories and captions one of them, “Baby I don’t know what to say…. just tears upon tears upon tears… you was supposed to come back to me.” Take a look.
