RIP: Jerry Springer Passes Away At 79

Legendary TV host, Jerry Springer, dies at 79. According to reports, the talk show host died after his battle with cancer.

His family released a statement, “Jerry’s ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried, whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word,” Jene Galvin, a lifelong friend and spokesman for the family says. “He’s irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart and humor will live on.”

Jerry is most known for hosting his controversial yet entertaining talk show “The Jerry Springer” show. He also served as the 56th mayor of Cincinnati from 1977-78.

His family says he died peacefully in his home in suburban Chicago. May he rest peacefully.
