Aoki Lee Simmons,16, posted a video on IG letting her supporters know that she got accepted into Harvard.
Her mom Kimora joked and said, “good thing you got in on your own because you can’t row.” Her father Russell even praised the fact that they didn’t have to “pull any strings.”
Earlier this month, over 50 people including actress Lori Loughlinand Felicity Huffman were accused of being involved in the biggest school admissions scandal in history.
People online made comments on Russell’s page about “throwing shade” about the scandal situation. Russell defended his words and said that it was just a “joke not meant to shade anyone.” Take a look:
