Attention all college students: New York will be the first state to grant students FREE tuition at public colleges and universities for the middle-class and poor.
If you want to know what constitutes as “middle-class and poor,” that includes families who make $100,000 dollars a year or LESS. Don’t worry the number will be raised to $125,000 dollars in the year 2019.
This plan was constructed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo and will be put into practice for students of the Fall 2017 semester. In order to qualify the students chosen must maintain a certain grade point average.
According to reports 940 million families qualify for this new financial program.
